Beginner Kayaking - Foss Waterway

No kayaking experience required!

Check out the urban landscape of the Foss Waterway from your kayak. Experience the Tacoma skyline from a new perspective and take in the sights and sounds of this working waterway.

• No previous kayaking experience required.
• Please note our kayaks are tandem boats and you will be paddling with someone else.
• Meeting location will be Waterway Park.
• There will be a 20-minute land-based paddle talk with instruction prior to the paddle in addition to a loading/unloading process on either end of the paddle.
• On-water paddle time will be approximately 2 hours.
• Trips canceled due to unsafe marine conditions will be refunded in full.
• Afterwards we will grab a celebration cocktail along the Foss Waterway.

Tickets are $50 each with Tacoma Parks. There are 10 openings left for this day/time.
