General Public: $25Join us for a special evening with acclaimed painter master of light Vincent Crotty for a live oil painting demonstration at TAG/NEAC. Born in Ireland and based in Boston for many years, Crotty is widely recognized for his expressive landscapes, seascapes, and figurative paintings. His work is celebrated for its fluid brushwork, rich color, and remarkable sensitivity to light, transforming everyday scenes into atmospheric and memorable images.
During this live demonstration, Vincent will paint in real time while sharing insights into his creative process, materials, and approach to capturing light, mood, and place on canvas. Guests will have the opportunity to observe his techniques up close, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the practice of oil painting.

Guided by Claudia’s experience as a curator, gallery director, and arts administrator, the session moves beyond simple critique. Through conversation, questions, and reflection, artists gain clarity around their work, its concept, presentation, and how it is perceived by others. The group dynamic becomes an essential part of the process, offering multiple viewpoints and fostering meaningful connections among participants.
