Sunday, February 15 | 9:00 AM Meet-Up
Join us for a 🟄 challenging and rewarding winter hike to Ralston Peak—one of the best viewpoints overlooking Lake Tahoe. This steep winter ascent is perfect for experienced winter hikers looking for a solid workout, big elevation gain, and epic summit views (weather permitting).
Expect sustained climbs, snowy terrain, and classic Sierra winter conditions. Reaching the summit offers sweeping views of Lake Tahoe, Desolation Wilderness, and surrounding peaks.

Notes:

  1. This is a strenuous winter hike with significant elevation gain and is not suitable for beginners.
  2. Trail conditions may include deep snow, ice, and wind exposure near the summit.
  3. We suggest bringing snowshoes for softer snow, microspikes for firm or icy sections, and trekking poles for stability.
