Mid-week Uphill Training - Stanford Dish

Experience a strong mid-week uphill training hike at Stanford Dish starting from the Alpine Rd parking area (see trail map). This route offers steady climbing on paved roads with open views and consistent grade — perfect for building strength and endurance.
This is approximately 5 miles round trip with about 745 feet of elevation gain. Expect sustained uphill sections and a solid workout pace. Total time will be around 2.5 hours, depending on group flow.
We will start from the Alpine Rd parking area and hike as a group. This is a training-focused session rather than a casual stroll. Best suited for those comfortable with continuous uphill movement.

Bring: plenty of water, a hat (very little shade), and hiking shoes or trail runners.
