This group is ideal for anyone looking to enhance their health and vitality and lead their best life possible through Tai Chi, Qigong or Life Coaching.
Life Coaching Sessions: Hazel offers online life coaching sessions that focus on health and wellness, as well as personal growth and transformation. Hazel has a background in Nutritional Therapy as well as Tai Chi and Qigong for Relaxation and will support you during your own unique Health and Wellness journey forward using Life Coaching techniques. Life Coaching is about helping you explore your own thoughts, find your own answers, and unlock the potential within you. You can choose either one to one sessions which are personalised for you, or join an online group coaching course to connect with others on a similar path. This will be an amazing opportunity to relax, rejuvenate, meet like-minded people and explore this beautiful, scenic, magical island ... All in the sun :-)
No experience of Tai Chi/Qigong is necessary and Absolute Beginners as well as those who have some experience are welcome.
The type of Tai Chi/Qigong we will focus on during the Holiday will be a therapeutic type of Qigong (Wild Goose Qigong) which is self-healing and powerfully energising as well as therapeutic. This amazing Qigong form feels light, peaceful and relaxing to do and resembles a Tai Chi form. Being a totally unique type of Qigong it imitates the movements of a carefree bird and involves slow, flowing moves to absorb positive 'chi' energy from your surroundings as well as some faster moves to release negative energy. After practising you normally feel light, calm and rejuvenated.
It is anticipated that a lot of the Qigong tuition will take place outdoors on the beach. The average temperature in Valle Gran Rey, where the holiday will take place is about 25 degrees during October.
La Gomera is a 50 minute ferry ride away from Los Cristianos in Tenerife. This lesser known and more remote beautiful island has diverse, scenic landscapes and is ideal for nature-lovers and those wishing to explore the many hiking trails. The Qigong holiday will take place in the sunny South West part of the island by the coast and there will be plenty of free time to relax, practise your Qigong, go on a boat trip including a dolphin watching trip, go walking and explore this fascinating island. An hour of total relaxation on a Monday night. A unique opportunity to start learning Tai Chi from the beginning of the sequence, in the comfort of your own home.
Ideal if you'd like to relax and learn a gentle type of meditative movement. Tai Chi and Qigong are a form of mindful movement and resemble a slow classical dance.
This is an 8 week course. During this course we'll take a look at some basic Qigong Relaxation breathing exercises, go through some of the basics of Tai Chi and you'll learn the opening moves of the Tai Chi sequence (form).
Video support is also available - is ideal for if you wish to practise between live sessions.

Hazel :-) - Easy Morning Qigong Relaxation Course Bruntsfield: Week 1 of 46A Morningside Rd, Edinburgh£40.00
Ideal for anyone who wants an hour of total relaxation and mindful movement.
In this class we will focus mainly on a set of Qigong exercises (called the Tai Chi Qigong) which are simple and easy to learn, yet very effective for bringing about a feeling of relaxation and peace of mind, while gently exercising the body. This type of Qigong is a type of meditation in movement and is done in harmony with the breath.
After a 4 week block you may remember some of the Qigong exercises and be able to practise them effectively in your own time and this class will give you the opportunity to learn some simple relaxation techniques, without having to remember any complicated movement sequences.
This is week 1 of the 4 week course and the cost for the course is £40. Advance booking is essential to guarantee your space.

Hazel :-) - Outdoor Tai Chi & Qigong Relaxation Course, Stockbridge, Edinburgh: Week 1 of 4Sundial Garden, Edinburgh£40.00
This Tai Chi and Qigong Relaxation class is a unique opportunity to start learning Tai Chi and Qigong in beautiful, natural and secluded surroundings. (If the weather isn't suitable there is a back up plan; the class will still go ahead indoors in Stockbridge at the LifeCare Centre).
Tai Chi is a form of mindful movement which resembles a slow classical dance and is ideal for bringing about a feeling of relaxation and peace of mind while gently exercising the body.
During these classes we will take a look at some of the basics of Tai Chi, learn some simple Qigong exercises and learn the first parts of the sequence (Both the square and round form).
The class is pitched at a Level to suit Continuers or enthusiastic Beginners who are either keen to practise between sessions or go with the flow of the class. Video support is available for regular students who wish to practise between classes.
