Visit our mini-Tai Chi class Thursdays and Fridays at the Watts Towers Art Center for FREE. We teach to the community and staff there - all you have to do is show up. (No need to RSVP). Parking is on the side parking lot or street.

What to expect:

• Warm up with qi gong followed by a guided flow of Yang Style 24 Form - Tai Chi Chuan

• Practice the entire form with guidance from a unique perspective – an avid practitioner of tai chi chuan and mental health practitioner

• Gain supportive feedback about form, qi flow, and proper mental focus to integrate optimum benefits

Why:

• It's a great time and place to reset your nervous system to Relax and Focus while cultivating your Qi.

• Its a great boost to the rest of your day and weekend.

About Our Instructor:

Tai Chi Chuan first caught Veronika Gilliland’s attention in high school when she read that Tai Chi helps promote harmony of the organs, internal strength, and peace of mind. In 2003, Veronika took her first course in Tai Chi Chuan. By 2010, she came full circle and began he weekly practice in Signal Hill with the School of Healing Martial Arts. Through Tai Chi Chuan Veronika has cultivated an internal awareness of her mental and body states, promoting the mind and body connection. With this new sense of awareness and connection, Veronika has been able to recover from stress and heal her body more easily.
