What we’re about

Learn and practice Taiji Form and Qigong movement. Contact us to schedule your class try: 646-801-9218. After a class try, we offer a 5 or 10 week dojo pass, or 3 or 6 month course blocks (with a reasonable absence policy). We do not provide single drop-in classes.

We offer four graduated levels of Taiji Form class and open level Qigong classes. You may combine Push Hands coursework with Taiji Form and Qigong classes for an additional fee.

Form work involves warmups, stances, sequenced movement, and limited partner work and self-defense references. Generally, anyone, whether seeking better balance and body coordination or martial artists and athletes, benefits. All ages and body types welcome.

Note: Taiji refers to Tai Chi Chuan, or Taijiquan. Our foundation is Yang Family / Style Taiji. We meet weekly except for some major holidays and possibly a Summer break.

Taiji EastWest has been organizing classes for over 20 years. Attendees under the age of 18 must have a guardian with them.
