DOG WALK Minnie Ha Ha to George Winter Park ***NEW SPOT TO GATHER***

Let's go look at the flooded Meramec River. It will be running high and fast and both parks are closed.

READ DRIVING DIRECTIONS BELOW. We will meet at the American Legion parking lot. Walk one way to one park, then back and go the other way to the other park. Plan on Geo Winter Park first.

We will cross the river on the only walking bridge over the Meramec River this far downstream, it's pretty cool. Very scenic, follows the river. We will stop at the boat launch ramp to let the pups swim/play, then head back on the same trail.

About 3 miles total. We should finish the walk by about 11:30-ish.

Good walking shoes okay here, it's totally paved. There might be some mud, this area was devastated by recent floods. Otherwise, it's all paved.

We hit the trail at 10:00, with or without you. Arrive a little before that.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

We will meet at the parking area near the American Legion on Gravois Road, immediately west of the bridge over the river. It's right where we usually cross the road to get to George Winter.
