SUNDAY CREEK WALK at CASTLEWOOD

Details
LET'S HOPE IT'S HOT ENOUGH TO KEEP SOME PEOPLE AWAY. PARKING IS USUALLY A PROBLEM HERE ON WEEKENDS. EARLIER STARTUP.
This is about 3 miles total. Half on the trail and half in the cold spring fed creek water. We walk in the water. It's usually only a few inches deep, but sometimes we have to cross a deeper spot. Wear clothes that can get wet.
We can do this in the hottest weather, the water is always cool and clear for the pups.
We hit the trail promptly at 9:00, with or without you. Allow time for parking, and arrive a bit early so you're ready to go at 9:00.
FOOTWEAR: Wear some old sneakers WITH SOCKS to keep the gravel out. Your shoes will be in water a lot, so they won't be good for much else after we do this.
WATER: Bring water for your dog and yourself, but plenty of creek water for the pups to drink.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
Use GPS or meetup mapping to get to park. Once inside the park, come to the ***SECOND parking lot on left***, just before the tunnel. Shaded spots there to keep cars cool for ride home.
