DOG WALK Minnie Ha Ha to George Winter Park

One of our easiest and cleanest trails. Great for beginners. Easy, level and paved.

We will walk from Minnie Ha Ha to George Winter Park, approx 1.5 miles. We will cross the river on the only walking bridge over the Meramec River this far downstream, it's pretty cool. Very scenic, follows the river. We will stop at the boat launch ramp to let the pups swim/play, then head back on the same trail.

About 3 miles total. We should finish the walk by about 11:30-ish.

Good walking shoes okay here, it's totally paved. Some of us might detour slightly around the beaver ponds, a very short dirt trail that is level and easy to follow. There won't be any mud.

We hit the trail at 10:00, with or without you. Arrive a little before that.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

Use meetup mapping or your gps. Both work well here. Park is located on Old Gravois Road (Fenton) right on the Meramec River.

AFTER YOU ENTER THE PARK....meet at the second parking lot on the left. There is an overlook pavilion on the river where we meet.
