Sunflowers and Hike at Weldon Springs

We can view the sunflowers first which are along the gravel road to the boat ramp and then hike ~3 miles on the Katy Trail which is an easy gravel trail. Option to stop for lunch at Good News Brewing (known for excellent pizza) and dog friendly patio.

Meet at the parking lot for Weldon Springs Conservation Area (Public Fishing Access/Katy Trail)

Be sure to bring water for your dog and self.
Consider bringing bug spray and sunscreen as parts of the trail may be shady/buggy and sunny.
