13th ANNUAL HALLOWEEN DOG HIKE on ZOMBIE ROAD. Dress up the Dogs!

Details
IT'S TIME FOR ZOMBIES, WEREWOLVES and other scary creatures! Where else would we go at Halloween time? Only the BRAVE will come! Dogs have been known to disappear on this trail and reappear days later!
THE PUPS ARE ALLOWED TO EAT ANY ZOMBIES THAT THEY CATCH!
Officially in a registry of "Missouri's most haunted places". You never know what you'll see on this trail at Halloween time!
Let's have a little fun and wear costumes...dog and human. You don't have to, but we'll have our own little Halloween Pet Parade.
***
Easy, paved and mostly level trail. Your dog might even stay reasonably clean! Good for first timers. Fall colors are usually awesome on this trail at Halloween.
About 4.5 miles. Allow 2.5 hours, including stops.
NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES, 6' MAXIMUM
Paved trail with beautiful scenery, 12 bridges, lots of rock outcroppings and a couple of waterfalls after a rain. One moderate hill near parking lot, otherwise totally level. It's an out-and-back hike, we walk to where the trail meets up with the Al Foster, then turn around and walk back the same way. A couple of creek stops if it's been raining, but no water for dogs at all if it's been dry.
PACE OF HIKE: Our pace is relaxed moderate. We walk at about 2.0 mph. Not a power hike, we don't do that. If that's not what you want, don't sign up.
If you're a newbie, please walk at group pace. New members do not set the pace for the group! We have all ages/abilities on our hikes and the idea of group hiking is to stay with the group.
STAY TO THE RIGHT ON TRAIL, just like you're driving a car. We don't own the trail. We ask that you move to the right single file and short leash when passing or being passed. It's scary for other people passing this many dogs that they don't know, give them room to distance themselves. There are bikers here too, and they go fast. Just stay to the right. Thanks.
NO BATHROOMS, stop before you get there.
NO GUEST DOGS. Human guests without dogs are welcome.
We ask that you refrain from political/controversial conversation on our hikes, so everyone can relax and enjoy nature. Thanks.
