It's our 14th ANNUAL BLUEBELL HIKE on the Al Foster/Rock Hollow trails. Easy, level, gravel or paved trail. This is one probably the best bluebell field in STL county. They are awesome.

There's a small creek to cross to get back to the spring, but you can wait on the main trail and skip that part, we come back the same way to get you. There are benches here. You need waterproof boots here usually, water is about 2"-3" deep, but it's a beautiful little dirt trail, about 1000 feet long. Lots of bluebells on this trail. Creek can be deeper, and there are logs down on the trail to the spring. So we might not be able to do this part.

There are bikers and they go fast. Important to stay to the right and give bikers/hikers room to pass. We don't own the trail. SHORT LEASH ONLY, 6' MAX. The trail can be a little busy on weekends, especially in bluebell season.

THERE IS ANOTHER MEETUP GROUP GATHERING HERE AT SAME TIME. BE SURE YOU GET WITH THE RIGHT GROUP.

Arrive early and be ready to go at scheduled time. We hit the trail at 10:00, with or without you.

About 3.5 miles, out and back.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

Use meetup mapping or GPS.

Hwy 109 to Old State Road stoplight. Turn onto Old State, then immediately right onto Washington, which becomes Grand. Follow Grand to the third parking lot on left, just before the mini RR tracks. The road ends just past RR track crossing, so you can't get too lost.

Porta potty here. Maybe the real bathrooms will be open, but don't count on it.
