由於美國嚴格的政策，從美國大學畢業後要走向成功職涯的道路變得充滿不確定性。不僅學費與生活成本持續攀升，取得合法工作簽證的難度也遠高於加拿大。相較之下，加拿大的移民途徑相對清晰，只要從加拿大的大學畢業，即可獲得工作簽證。此外，由於加幣貶值，現在加拿大的生活成本其實略低於美國（除了汽油，酒價格較高）。
Due to USA's stringent policies, the path from USA universities to a fruitful career has been in question. It is getting more expensive and harder to obtain legal work permits in USA vs Canada. Whereas in Canada, the path to citizenship is very clear and work permits are offered if you graduate from Canadian Universities. Plus, the cost of living now is actually slightly cheaper in Canada except for gasoline, due to the deflation of the Canadian Dollar. Richard Ivey school of business at Western university is holding a global Ivey event where alumni and interested parties including other Canadian universities are invited to come and network in Taipei. Other non affiliated parties are still welcome to sign up and network provided you are interested in learning more about Canadian universities and potential careers and businesses after graduation.
