When talking about the practice of artificial intelligence (AI), there would be a wide variety of implementations and imagination in everyone's mind nowadays. In this sharing, we are going to discuss about some of existing computer vision applications in business from different points of views.

Allison is a data scientist, a machine learning engineer, as well as an AI consultant with over a decade of experience in building innovative software involving computer vision and machine learning. Until now, her technical experience includes the decision making system and visual perception system of autonomous humanoid robots, a real-time camera-based behavior analysis on the embedded vehicle information system, gaze behavior estimation for customer interest analysis in the retail industry, an visual inspection platform for defect inspection in the manufacturing industry, the demand forecast on spare parts for repair operations in the monitor manufacturing, hand gesture recognition on IoTs, workplace safety monitoring in petrochemical plants, etc.

Python 在製造業的應用

大綱：

分享在部門裡 OT(operational technology) 與 IT(information technology)人員在溝通上的一些隔閡。以往製造業生產端，在過去時間都是在網路封閉的環境下從事生產，鮮少有IT領域的工程師。但現在工業4.0加上大數據時代，漸漸地有了資訊領域的工作內容，才讓OT與IT有了較多的接觸。

工業自動化的軟體工程師，目前在一家德國工業相機代理商當工程師。從Machine Vision起家，之後長出了控制機械手臂、資料庫串接與CI/CD等等的技能樹
