Introduction

Welcome to our Robotics Tech Talks Meetup 🤖!

This meetup is designated for robotics and ROS developers but we also warmly invite people from various fields interested in robotics to join us!

Join us to learn with the speakers and to have insightful conversations with the experts in the field!

The event will be hosted at Tenlong Bookstore and the venue fee charged by the bookstore is 100 NTD per person.

Updates
We have decided to transform our Monthly Meetup into a combination of Tech Talk and a regular Meetup. The frequency remains monthly, but we will alternate between the two. For instance, Tech Talk sessions will be held in January, March, and May, while regular casual meetups will take place in February, April, and June.

Also, there are two main changes this time that we have never tried before:

• From now on, the meetup will be hosted mainly in English but not exclusive to Mandarin speakers since resources in this field are mainly in English which could lower the boundary for people to dig for more information about it. As for the regular meetup which will be hosted in a restaurant or a cafe, we will focus on connection and casual conversation about the field.
• Another exciting change this time is that we are introducing technical sharing. In past events, the lightning talks were more about experience and side project sharing, which is good but cannot meet people's curiosities for deeper technical knowledge.

我們決定將每月的聚會轉改成技術分享（Tech Talk）和一般聚會，並每個月交替進行。例如，技術分享將於一月、三月和五月舉行，而普通的聚會將在二月、四月和六月舉行。

在試辦幾次後，決定將聚會以英語進行，但還是會有中文講者也歡迎中文母語者參與。會這樣調整主要是因為Robotics領域的資源主要是英語，這樣可以降低大家在尋找資源時遇到的困難。

另一個重大的的改變是，這次將引入了技術分享。在過去的活動中，簡短的分享更多地涉及經驗和Side Project的分享，雖然也獲的很多講者的經驗值，但無法滿足人們對更深入的技術知識的好奇心。而普通的聚會則會辦在餐廳或是咖啡廳，主要著重在彼此想法交流和Side Project的分享。
