Come join us this Friday! 🍻

Every Friday, we bring together travelers, expats, international students, and Taiwanese locals for a fun, friendly night in Taipei.

You don't need to know anyone before you come. A lot of people show up alone, and that's totally normal here.

🤝 Our local hosts will welcome you, introduce you to others, and help you get into conversations.

You can talk about travel, life in Taiwan, work, music, or whatever comes up.

🌏 Want to practice English or Mandarin?

That's another great reason to come!

If you're Taiwanese and want to speak more English, you'll meet people from different countries. If you're learning Chinese, you can chat with Taiwanese locals.

And if you don't like traditional language exchanges, that's fine. We don't have language tables, lessons, or fixed partners.

We're just here to meet people, have good conversations, and enjoy Friday night together.

And here's the fun part — we often go out together after the meetup! 🌃

Once you've met a few people, you can join our host for another stop at MAJI Square or a DJ bar in Xinyi.

Of course, you can also just stay for the social and head home at 10 PM.

# ✨ What Happens on Friday?

## 🍷 7:30–10:00 PM｜Meet & Chat

We meet at Somewhere Bar, near Liuzhangli MRT.
Grab your welcome drink and say hello!

Our hosts will help everyone get to know each other, especially if it's your first time.

There's no fixed schedule for conversations. You can move around, meet different people, and chat in English or Mandarin.

Some people come to practice languages. Some want to make friends. Others are just looking for something fun to do in Taipei on Friday night.
That's what makes the group interesting!

## 🌃 After 10 PM｜Let's Go Out!

Don't want the night to end yet?
Our host usually takes anyone who wants to continue to:
🍻 MAJI Square in Yuanshan — for drinks and hanging out
or
🎧 A DJ bar in Xinyi — for music, dancing, and more nightlife
By then, you'll already know a few people, so you won't be going out alone!
Joining is totally optional. You can leave whenever you like.

Any extra drinks, transport, or entrance fees after the meetup are paid separately.

You can choose:

You can RSVP in advance or simply walk in.

# 👫 Bringing a Friend?

Come together and you'll each pay NT$400 as usual.
But you'll also get:
🎟️ 2 × NT$50 drink discount tokens
You can use them for extra drinks during the event.

# 💵 Payment

You can pay by cash or card at the venue.
💵 Cash is a little faster for check-in, but cards are fine too!

# 🎤 What About Saturday?

We also get together every Saturday at TEA BAR!
Saturday is a little different:
🎯 Darts and music downstairs
🌙 A quiet outdoor area for chatting
🎤 Karaoke upstairs

### Can I come alone?

Please do! 😊
A lot of our guests come alone. Our hosts will welcome you and introduce you to people, so you don't need to worry about finding someone to talk to.

### Can I practice English or Chinese here?

Yes! 🌏
We have both Taiwanese locals and international guests.
If you want to practice English or Mandarin, just come and chat with people.
It's not a formal language exchange. There are no lessons or fixed partners. You can just relax and talk naturally.

### What if my English isn't very good?

That's okay!
You don't need perfect English or Chinese. We're here to meet people, not test anyone's language skills.

### Do I need to be a traveler or expat?

Not at all!
If you live in Taipei and want to meet new people, you're just as welcome.

### Do I have to go out after 10 PM?

Nope!
You can just enjoy the meetup from 7:30 to 10 PM. The night out afterward is optional.

### Do I have to drink alcohol?

No! We have non-alcoholic drinks too.

### How much does it cost?

NT$400 per person, including one drink.
If two of you come together, you'll also receive 2 × NT$50 discount tokens for extra drinks.

### Can I pay by card?

Yes! We accept cash and cards.

### Where do you go after 10 PM?

Usually MAJI Square in Yuanshan or a DJ bar in Xinyi, depending on the night.

那週五晚上來找我們玩吧！
我們每週五都會聚集來自不同國家的旅客、交換學生、在台外國人，以及台灣朋友。
很多人第一次來都是自己一個人，所以完全不用擔心沒有人認識。

🤝 我們有熱情的在地主持人，會歡迎你、幫忙介紹朋友，也會帶動現場聊天。

🌏 想練英文，卻不喜歡傳統語言交換嗎？

那你可能會喜歡我們的活動！
這裡沒有固定配對、語言桌，也不會要求你一直講英文。
你可以跟外國朋友聊旅行、聊台灣生活、聊工作，或是任何你感興趣的話題。
正在學中文的外國朋友，也可以跟台灣人自然聊天。
不用把練語言當成任務，先認識朋友，聊著聊著自然就練到了！

而且我們週五最有趣的地方，是晚上 10 點後還可以一起續攤！ 🌃

先在酒吧認識彼此，等大家聊熟一點，如果還想繼續玩，主持人通常會帶大家去圓山 MAJI 或信義區 DJ 酒吧。
當然，不想續攤也完全沒關係！

## 🍷 19:30–22:00｜先認識朋友、一起聊天

我們在六張犁捷運站附近的 Somewhere Bar 那裡集合。
入場後可以先拿一杯門票包含的飲料。
主持人會協助介紹新朋友、幫忙破冰，讓第一次來的人也比較容易加入聊天。
現場有人講英文、有人講中文，也會遇到來自不同國家的朋友。
沒有固定的聊天流程，你可以自由認識不同的人。
有人來練英文，有人想認識外國朋友，也有人只是想找個好玩的週五晚上。

## 🌃 22:00 後｜一起去下一站！

聊得正開心，不想這麼早回家？
主持人通常會帶想繼續玩的朋友前往：
🍻 圓山 MAJI Square — 繼續喝一杯、聊天
或
🎧 信義區 DJ 酒吧 — 聽音樂、跳舞、感受台北夜生活
前面已經有兩個多小時認識大家，續攤時就不會是自己一個人走進陌生的酒吧。
想去就一起去，不想去也完全沒問題！
續攤的交通、額外酒水與個別場所入場費需要自行負擔。

### 一個人來會不會很尷尬？

不會啦！😊
很多人都是自己來的，主持人會主動跟你打招呼，也會幫忙介紹朋友。

### 我想練英文，適合嗎？

很適合！
現場有不少來自不同國家的朋友，可以一起聊旅行、台灣生活或任何有趣的事。
不需要參加制式語言交換，也沒有固定配對。
想練中文的外國朋友，也很歡迎來跟台灣人聊天。

### 英文不太好也可以嗎？

當然可以！
我們又不是英文考試，沒有人會幫你打分數。😆
不用擔心講錯，願意開口聊天就很好了。

### 我本來就住台北，也可以來嗎？

當然！
我們很歡迎想跳出固定生活圈、認識新朋友的台灣人。

### 一定要參加 10 點後的續攤嗎？

不用！
只參加前面的社交活動就可以，續攤完全自由。

### 不喝酒可以嗎？

可以！門票包含的飲料也可以選無酒精飲品。

### 門票多少？

每人 NT$400，包含一杯飲品。

### 可以刷卡嗎？

可以，現金和刷卡都接受。
