Hello, I’m Taka — a chef based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Thanks to all of you, I’ve been given so many opportunities to host events and share my cooking — I’m truly grateful!

Since arriving in Christchurch, I’ve been blessed with so many wonderful repeat guests and supporters.

One thing that has never changed since I began this journey is my passion for:
“Cooking in a way that connects to the next generation.”

Through my travels around the world, I’ve learned that food is more than just something we eat.
It brings discovery, creates memories, sparks awareness of our planet, and connects people together.

That’s why I’m not only cooking — I’m sharing and spreading these experiences.
Because I believe food tastes better when it’s enjoyed together.

I will keep cooking with the hope that today’s dishes will connect us to a better tomorrow.
