Take a Beat
415 Westlake Ave N, 415 Westlake Avenue North, Seattle, WA, USThis unique new event is an opportunity to be present with each other and ourselves at the end of a wild year. Join us for our version of a love-in - a place to Take a Beat for peace and music and joy and creativity and community.
We’ll start with some tranquil beats in the form of a sound bath and intention setting, move into some lush beats with a performance by the incomparable Tomo Nakayama, and round it out by dropping some groovy beats with dance party legend DJ Michele Myers and a variety of creative activities - build a terrarium, write a haiku, paint a rock, and lots more.
Take a Beat is a series of experiences from stillness to exuberance. It's a vibe!
