TAH North Pudsey Circular - 9 miles - FREE

Details

WALK LEADER: Susan. This is a 9 mile circular walk from Pudsey Civic Hall. Here is a link to the detailed description on our website which we need you to read before you sign up and also before you set off: https://takeahike.org.uk/walk/north-pudsey-circular-new-date/

What is Take A Hike & why is this walk free?

We are a friendly walking group for younger Ramblers (roughly 20’s to 40’s). New members are always welcome! Our group was founded in 2002 and is run entirely by volunteers. We are one of around 500 Ramblers groups across Britain.

We are a website-based group which uses Meetup to publicise a selection of walks to help people find out about us. If you’re not a member of the Ramblers, we invite you to try 2 or 3 walks for free before deciding whether to join*. Please visit our website (http://www.takeahike.org.uk) to see the complete diary. Come along to any walks that appeal to you. Sometimes walks are added at short notice, so it’s a good idea to check the website regularly.

An important thing to know is that our members (including walk leaders) don't generally use Meetup, so don't be concerned if attendance looks low. There will usually be more people attending than it shows on here. If you need to contact the walk leader you will find their details on the walk description on our website. The ‘host’ showing on Meetup is simply the person who published the walk - they may not be present on the day. The walk leader is your point of contact.

Our FAQs https://takeahike.org.uk/group-info/faqs/ include guidance about what to wear for a walk, what to bring with you (a packed lunch is usually required, for example), how fit you need to be etc. There's also advice if you’re thinking of bringing a dog.

Please note that the meeting point shown on the map on Meetup can be approximate. Look at the supporting information on our website to help you identify the meeting point before you set off.

Give us a like on facebook https://www.facebook.com/takeahikegroup) if you enjoyed walking with us!

See you soon!

*To lead a walk or organise a social for our group, and to attend our socials (apart from the monthly pub meet) and weekends away, you need to be a member of the Ramblers (Britain's walking charity). Joining involves paying a monthly subscription of less than £4. Being a member has several other benefits. As well as supporting the charitable aims of the Ramblers, you also receive magazines, have access to hundreds of organised walks across the country every week, plus there’s a discretionary 15% discount at Cotswold Outdoor and other outdoor shops.
