Benicia SRA for Tots!

Details
This is a last-minute post for a hike tomorrow at Benicia SRA. My little guy has been under the weather until today, when he came out with, "I want to hike with Grandma!"
We'll park on K St. at the intersection of Military West(just off the end of the freeway exit ramp). Here we can walk into the park on the Bay Area Ridge Trail.
The trail here is paved so the kids can pedal a trike, power a scooter, roll in a stroller, ride in a child carrier, or stretch their legs. We can walk along the paved trail until we connect to the Dillon Point Rd., which continues on past the picnic area at the native plant garden, or we can opt to veer off onto the short salt marsh trails along the way. We'll let the kids have a say!
The hike will likely be 2-3 miles, depending on what we decide. If we walk to the garden there is a lovely path that wanders through an amazing collection of native Californian plants. We should see some of the western shore birds that frequent the bay, so I'll bring along some binoculars the kids can look through.
If you have any questions or are interested in carpooling, send me a message!
