Take a Hike! @ Chimney Rock & Wolf Rock

Join us for a hike to Chimney Rock and Wolf Rock, a great chance to meet new people, get some exercise, and spend time outdoors with the group. This 3.7-mile hike includes 853 feet of elevation gain and visits both Chimney Rock and Wolf Rock along the route.

We’ll make our way to Chimney Rock and then Wolf Rock, taking time to enjoy the scenery and views along the way. With two destinations packed into a relatively short hike, this is a great way to spend a few hours hiking and exploring with others.

Whether you’re looking to meet other hikers, get outside for some exercise, or just enjoy a day on the trail, this group hike is a good opportunity to do all three. Bring water, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and come ready for 3.7 miles on the trail.

Meeting Time & Location:
We’ll meet at 9:30 AM in front of the Catoctin Mountain Park Visitor Center.

Parking
Parking is available in two lots at the Visitor Center. Overflow parking is permitted on the street (Park Central Road).
