All my 50 plus years now, I've always had a passion for adventures, and being in the New Zealand bush, from an early age, teenager years and beyond through being a Scout, and later a Scout Leader, my mother was a Cub Leader, in Balmoral too, and I was involved with helping with assorted weekend activities..Since my 30s, I have been in some form of Tramping or Outdoors Activities Club..bringing mainly adults together for hiking and camping and organizing events most weekends..I have been an Organiser on Meet Up since 2010.

I am not a parent ..I grew up being a childhood survivor of leukemia, and I'm unable to have any kids myself.
Along with my 3 younger brothers, our parents shifted us to Auckland for my better health and lifestyle, and thankfully getting into the outdoors gave us all fresh air and exercise, and insatiably curious, and inquisitive, we all have benefited immensely now into adulthood thanks to many years in nature..My nephews and nieces, along with their parents, and me accompanying them over the years of their growing lives, we all have continued getting outdoors as much as possible.

TAKE A KID OUTDOORS Meet up group is for everyone's pleasure and I trust you'll accompany us on many adventure events for together times in the many Auckland Regional Parks & Reserves , and other places beyond to the Waikato Region and North occasionally.

Our group is for parents, solo mums and dads, grandparents, caregivers and early educators and family friends and relatives..

Our Events are mostly suited for active children, under your supervision, with fun activities.

Our group setting is set to " private " ( verus the default public) to protect the privacy of our membership. You must be a member to see Member information and Event details.
