This event is only for a women+ / solo mujeres
Join us for a Female Photo Walk in Eixample where we will meet to explore some good spots and improve our skills together.
All levels of female photographers/videographers are welcome. You can bring your camera, smartphone or whatever photography equipment you prefer to create your content.
1. Reserve your SPOT on Meetup ASAP, we have limited spots.
Please don't show up if you are not on the final list of attendees. If you can't make it, please move yourself to the not going list to allow people on the waiting list to move.2. Join our WhatsApp group we will share there a full guide and a final map with the route and the places we will visit. It's very important to join to get live updates and live location.

4. The photo walk will be in English. 🇺🇸🇬🇧 but other languages are welcome if other members speak the same language; we are an inclusive community.

What we are not!
1. WORKSHOP: if you want to learn how to use your camera, feel free to ask questions to the members of the community, but don't expect a full course. We host and organise specific workshops for this matter, we suggest checking our Instagram account for more information.
2. CITY TOUR. If you are a tourist and you want a full walking tour with a personal guide, we suggest you book one of our private tours. You find the link here: TripAdvisor
3. If you join our activity, you have to follow the guidelines we will share on the WhatsApp group during the event. If there is a member of the community helping or hosting the photo walk, this person is not in charge of giving you personal instructions or looking for you if you get lost. Please follow the guide and be kind and respectful to the other members.
Who we are
Take a Photo Walk is a community-based startup founded in July 2024 in Barcelona to connect photo lovers and content creators around the world. We organise and host our own photo walk meetups and private photo walks in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris and several cities in Europe.
We're an open and inclusive community. Feel free to join one of our events and bring your friends!Contributing
As an open group, we welcome contributions from anyone who wants to do more than just attend - whether it's planning events, leading a walk, or working on new projects.Our community event is FREE, but we encourage you to help us raise funds. Even the smallest contribution helps. Hosts spend a lot of time organising the events and putting in a lot of effort to keep the community growing, also they need to pay for some fixed expenses, like Meetup subscriptions, to keep publishing events.

Two hours of photoshooting. We will practise capturing pets and their owners. There will be three different stages: one with artificial light and a black backdrop; a second with an internal patio; and a third with natural light on a rooftop.
Several owners and their pets are expected to attend the event.
If you would like to invite friends and their loved pets, please share this Google Form link with them. The participation for pets and their owners is free.The class is ideal for beginners who want to develop their skills and gain confidence in shooting with models.
