Photo Walk Berlin - GIANT KITE FESTIVAL - TEMPELHOFER FELD

Join us for a Photo Walk Berlin - Festival of GIANT KITES.

On 27 September 2025, Tempelhofer Feld will once again be transformed into a paradise for kite fans of all ages.
At the CITY AND COUNTRY GIANT KITE FESTIVAL, international kite pilots will fly kites up to 50 meters tall into the sky and provide breathtaking sights.
Admission is free.
Last year, the festival attracted more than 100,000 people, making it one of Berlin's most popular family events.
In 2025, the event once again promises unforgettable moments. We look forward to transforming the skies over Berlin into a sea of color together with all visitors in 2025.
All levels of photographers are welcome. You can bring your camera, smartphone, or any photography equipment you prefer.

1. Reserve your SPOT on Meetup ASAP, we have limited spots.
Please don't show up if you are not on the final list of attendees. If you can't make it, please move yourself to the not going list to allow people on the waiting list to move.

4. The photo walk will be in German/English 🇩🇪🇺🇸🇬🇧 but we have members from all over the world, we are an inclusive community 🤗❤️.

-Some considerations:
1. We are not a WORKSHOP: if you want to learn how to use your camera, feel free to ask questions to the members of the community, but don't expect a full course. We host and organise specific workshops for this matter, we suggest checking our Instagram account for more information.
2. This is not a CITY TOUR. If you are a tourist and you want a full walking tour with a personal guide, we suggest you book one of our private tours. DM us for more info.
3. We are all VOLUNTEERS: If you join our activity, you have to follow the guidelines we will share on the WhatsApp group during the event. If there is a member of the community helping or hosting the photo walk, this person is not in charge of giving you personal instructions or looking for you if you get lost. Please follow the guide and be kind and respectful to the other members.

Take a Photo Walk is a community-based startup founded in July 2024 in Barcelona to connect photo lovers and content creators around the world. We organize and host our own photo walk meetups and private photo walks in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Berlin and several cities in Europe.
We're an open and inclusive community 🤗❤️. Feel free to join one of our events and bring your friends!

-Data Protection: Regulations for Photos/Videos at Events.
When attending any events, policies regarding personal images often involve your consent and usage. Generally, private photos for personal use are acceptable, sharing them on social media may require consent if individuals are recognizable within the photo. You should tag the community and the individual in social media.
If you're not comfortable being photographed or filmed, please let the group know before the event begins.

As an open group, we welcome contributions from anyone who wants to do more than just attend - whether it's planning events, leading a walk, or working on new projects.

Beim CITY AND COUNTRY GIANT KITE FESTIVAL lassen internationale Drachenpiloten bis zu 50 Meter hohe Drachen in den Himmel steigen und sorgen für atemberaubende Anblicke.
Der Eintritt ist frei.
Im vergangenen Jahr zog das Festival mehr als 100.000 Menschen an und war damit eine der beliebtesten Familienveranstaltungen Berlins.
Auch 2025 verspricht die Veranstaltung wieder unvergessliche Momente. Wir freuen uns darauf, gemeinsam mit allen Besuchern im Jahr 2025 den Himmel über Berlin in ein Meer aus Farben zu verwandeln.
Fotografen aller Erfahrungsstufen sind willkommen. Sie können Ihre Kamera, Ihr Smartphone oder jede andere Fotoausrüstung mitbringen, die Sie bevorzugen.
1. Reservieren Sie Ihren Platz auf Meetup so schnell wie möglich, da die Plätze begrenzt sind.
Bitte kommen Sie nicht, wenn Sie nicht auf der endgültigen Teilnehmerliste stehen. Wenn Sie nicht kommen können, tragen Sie sich bitte in die Liste der Nichtteilnehmer ein, damit Personen auf der Warteliste nachrücken können.
