📸 PHOTO WALK: Manhattan summer frames

Capture the golden hour glow where the soaring steel of Manhattan meets the expanse of New York Harbor. Walk, shoot, and connect with photographers & creators as we move from the busy streets of Lower Manhattan onto the historic, open-air decks of the Staten Island Ferry. Beginners, enthusiasts, and pros — all are welcome.

18:00 | Meet & Connect We’ll gather at Starbucks Coffee Address: 1 Battery Pl, New York, NY 10004, United States
We'll introduce ourselves, and walk together to Manhattan's Whitehall Ferry Terminal, and clear through the doors to catch the free commuter ferry.
We'll secure outdoor deck positioning to map out our framing angles before departure.
18:30 | Main Walk (Harbor & Horizon) The ferry departs. As the golden hour light spreads over the Upper New York Bay, we’ll shoot the industrial mechanics of the ship, passing tugboats, and commuters. The focus is on framing high-contrast street portraits against the bright, reflective water.
19:15 | Second Focus (The Icon in Silhouette) As we glide past Liberty Island, the sun drops directly behind Lady Liberty. Use the dramatic backlight to compress her classic silhouette against a blazing sky, capturing the scale of the statue against the open water before we dock, touch base, and catch the immediate return ferry back to Manhattan.
20:00 → Optional drinks nearby along the historic cobblestones of Stone Street.
We’ll wrap around lunch, and for anyone who’s up for it, we’ll grab drinks nearby to keep the creative energy going.
