Join us for a Photo Walk to explore some beautiful spots in Rome around the Colosseum.

All levels of photographers are welcome. You can bring your camera, smartphone, or any photography equipment you prefer.

1. Reserve your SPOT on Meetup ASAP, we have limited spots.
Please don't show up if you are not on the final list of attendees. If you can't make it, please move yourself to the not going list to allow people on the waiting list to move.

2. Join our WhatsApp group It's very important to join to get live updates and live location.

3. Follow us on Instagram @takeaphotowalkcommunity where you'll find more information about our next events, as well as photos of the group and our walks.

4. The photo walk will be in English 🇺🇸🇬🇧.
We have members from all over the world, we are an inclusive community 🤗❤️.

Some considerations:
1. We are not a WORKSHOP: if you want to learn how to use your camera, feel free to ask questions to the members of the community, but don't expect a full course. We host and organise specific workshops for this matter, we suggest checking our Instagram account for more information.

2. This is not a CITY TOUR. If you are a tourist and you want a full walking tour with a personal guide, we suggest you book one of our private tours. DM us for more info.

We are all VOLUNTEERS: If you join our activity, you have to follow the guidelines we will share on the WhatsApp group during the event. If there is a member of the community helping or hosting the photo walk, this person is not in charge of giving you personal instructions or looking for you if you get lost. Please follow the guide and be kind and respectful to the other members.

Who we are.
Take a Photo Walk is a community-based startup founded in July 2024 in Barcelona to connect photo lovers and content creators around the world. We organize and host our own photo walk meetups and private photo walks in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, London, Amsterdam and several cities in Europe.
We're an open and inclusive community 🤗❤️ Feel free to join one of our events and bring your friends!

Data Protection: Regulations for Photos/Videos at Events.
When attending any events, policies regarding personal images often involve your consent and usage. Generally, private photos for personal use are acceptable, sharing them on social media may require consent if individuals are recognizable within the photo. You should tag the community and the individual in social media.
If you're not comfortable being photographed or filmed, please let the group know before the event begins.

Remember to Contribute.
As an open group, we welcome contributions from anyone who wants to do more than just attend - whether it's planning events, leading a walk, or working on new projects.

📸 Photographers/Videographers of all levels—whether you’re shooting Digital, Film, Polaroid, or just starting out as a hobbyist. 🥰 This is your playground to practice portraiture, test new gear, and swap tips with fellow photographers in a high-energy, real-world setting. ✨

⚠️ Note: "No tripods, no external flash stands." Keep it handheld. If the police ask, we are a "Social Meetup of Friends," not a "Production." 🤝

💖 Calling all locals and visitors—couples, soulmates, and besties—who are happy to step in front of the lens. 📸 Help us document love and friendship in our city as part of a worldwide photo project. ❤️ Your story is at the heart of the movement. 💞

📱 Join our WhatsApp group: It's very important to join to get last-minute updates and the live location during the event.

📍 Meet Up: Head to Taba Café (Campo de' Fiori) at the scheduled time (3pm). Just look for the group with the cameras!

🕒 For late comers: The Photo location will be at Ponte Sisto (Trastevere)

👋 Connect: This is a social mixer. Pair up with photographers and participants for quick, collaborative mini-sessions.

🎭 Let´s Play: It’s all about the vibe! Photographers—this is your playground to try a new lens or technique. Participants—just bring your best energy!

🤳 The Backup Plan: No photographer in sight? No problem! Don’t let those outfits go to waste. Find a fellow duo nearby and "Swap a Shot"—play paparazzi for each other or grab a killer selfie and tag us.
