Never say there is nothing beautiful in the world anymore. There is always something to make you wonder in the shape of a tree, the trembling of a leaf. Albert Schweitzer.

Greetings Photographers, I am back in Boston after 3 weeks in the Pocono Mountains where I spent many hours deep in the quiet woods photographing trees. Im happy be back and ready to share some of my insights with you.

You are invited to stop scrolling and start strolling this weekend as we explore the 80 species of trees in the Boston Garden. The bare trees of winter offer a unique way to see the beauty of trees. Their graceful lines, shapes and textures all stand out more powerfully without leaves or blossoms.

This will be a mindfulness class where we will go slowly so we can see more deeply and discover how to see more creatively. This is a good class for learning how to use your camera better. If you want to learn how to go off auto I can help you with that.
Topics for the workshop:

  • Creative compositions using fresh viewpoints and vantage points
  • Special effects in camera using intentional camera motion
  • Storytelling and capturing the personality of trees

All levels welcome including iPhones
I hope you can join us.
Suzanne
