New Event: Architecture Abstracts and Art along the Greenway
Details
This week we a taking a new route for our photo walk. We will focus on abstract architecture and art along the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Usually we focus on flowers along this route but the contemporary architecture deserves our attention.
We will start at South Station and photograph the new spectacular arches and interiors. (see samples) Then we will head along the Greenway to seek out the visual elements that make fantastic abstracts.
Topics we will cover will include:
- Creative Compositions that are dynamic and engaging
- How to use geometry to create visual tension
- Isolating details to create abstracts
- Capturing reflections
- Understanding visual weight and why it matters
- How to use your camera better
All levels welcome including iPhones
Spring is coming and then we will switch to more nature classes so I wanted to focus on urban subjects for a few weeks first. I hope you can join us!
