Taking Action For Animals

Our group will discuss ideas on how we can enhance the lives of animals. We will identify and decide on what issues we wish to address, and do all we can to accomplish change where needed. We will recruit other animal advocates from many places such as animal rescues, Peta, as well as the general public. We will schedule events to help empty the shelters, educate pet owners on proper care and offer information and referrals for what they need. We can elicit change in our animal abuse laws as well as do what we can to stop animal cruelty where we find it. Many circus and traveling animal shows have stopped using animals for profit, however, some remain. The Alaskan Iditarod Sled Dog Race takes place every March and inevitably, some dogs are forced to run to their deaths. There are so many issues to address for the health, welfare and often survival for animals where we can cause change if we commit to this very important cause.
