What we’re about

Taking Initiative Now offers facilitated community groups designed to support real-life growth, connection, and accountability. These groups are structured, but relaxed—focused on honest conversation, skill-building, and practical tools people can actually use outside the room.

Groups may focus on topics like:

  • Life skills and personal development
  • Emotional awareness and healthy coping
  • Building routines, consistency, and follow-through
  • Navigating change, stress, and everyday challenges
  • Accountability, reflection, and forward movement

These groups are structured but relaxed—guided conversations, practical tools, and space to be honest without pressure. We currently offer two ongoing groups:

  • Prideful Peers Conversation: A supportive space for LGBTQ+ community members to connect, reflect, and grow. This group centers identity, self-acceptance, relationships, healing, and navigating life with authenticity. Conversations are real, affirming, and grounded in respect—no fixing, no judgment, just support and forward movement.
  • Men’s Wellness Collective: A space for men to talk openly about life, emotions, accountability, and growth. This group focuses on breaking isolation, building emotional awareness, developing healthier coping skills, and redefining strength in a way that actually supports well-being.
  • Upcoming Women's Collective (to be determined)...
