Hey hikers out there! 🌄
Ready to trade your city view for some autumn air?

Let’s hike Mt. Ōyama (大山) — a mountain that’s got everything: temples, waterfalls, cable cars, and one of the best panoramic views in Kanagawa!

This is not a rush-to-the-top hike.
It’s a Talk & Trek style adventure — relaxed, social, and full of connection.

We’ll ride the Oyama Cable Car, explore the shrine area, walk scenic forest trails, and enjoy a mix of light hiking, conversation, and photo breaks.

📅 Saturday, November 8th, 2025
🕘 Meeting time : 9:00 AM (Isehara Station, Odakyu Line – North Exit)
🕓 Finish around 4:00 PM

🚠 Route Overview
From Isehara Station, we’ll take a bus to the Oyama Cable Station.
Short walk to the Cable Car Base Station (about 15 min uphill).[ one way cost around ¥640]
Take the Cable Car up to Afuri Shrine (下社) — beautiful views and shrine visit.
Lunch and chill time at the top.
Return via cable car and bus back to Isehara Station.

🚶‍♂️ Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆ (Easy to Moderate)
Perfect for beginners+ and intermediate hikers who can walk a few hours comfortably.

⚠️ Please judge your own hiking ability before joining.
While this is not a tough climb, there are some uphill paths and stairs.

🎒 What to Bring (November Weather Edition)
November in Ōyama is cool and breezy, perfect for hiking.
Dress in light layers you can adjust as you move.

✅ Recommended:
Light jacket or fleece 🧥 (it gets chilly at higher altitudes)
Comfortable sneakers or hiking shoes 🥾
Water (500 ml–1 L) 💧
Lunch or onigiri 🍙
Small towel / tissue
Suica / PASMO card for transport
Cash (💴 cable car & bus fees + ¥1000 event fee)
Camera / phone for photos 📸

If it rains, we’ll reschedule the hike (announcement 1 day before).
Bring a compact umbrella or light rain jacket just in case.

Join us for a relaxing social walk from Yokohama Station → Bay Quarter → Minato Mirai → Harbor Park — a perfect mix of city lights, harbor breeze, and good conversations.

We’ll check out the Bay Quarter Christmas area, enjoy the harbor views, grab some take-out coffee (optional), and end with a picnic-style hangout at Harbor Park. ☕🍂

No pressure. No awkwardness. Just good people, chill talks, and new friendships — in English or Japanese, whatever you’re comfortable with!
