Talk Business Networking is here to help you expand your network, grow your mind!
Each month, first Wednesday, 10-11:15am, we have fabulous meetings where we meet new people, discuss fun facts about business, question-of-the-week, hear about someone's journey and business, discuss one business topic in-depth and have round table networking where you can connect and talk about anything you like.

Introductions: New? You get 30 secs to introduce yourself to the group so get a pitch ready or wing it? Next, Question of the Week, an icebreaker, gets everyone talking - we want to hear what you think. Then, Showcase, 10-minute visual presentation for a regular to explain who they are, what they do, so we can get to know them and their business better. There's also fun business facts along the lines of "did you know Nike..."
Talk Business: it's in the name. Each month we discuss a new theme - some aspect of business everyone will have an opinion or experience with. Could be customers, sales, making money, setting goals, how to achieve them - you name it, we talk about it. Great time to get practical takeaways and cool ideas.
Networking: everyone gets 3-5 mins to talk in a small group on anything they want - how their weeks been, successes, challenges, what they've learnt - the good, bad, the ugly - anything you like. This is where you really get to know people and maybe have a few laughs!

Who's it for? Small business owners, budding entrepreneurs, someone with an idea but doesn't know how to start, business students - anyone who wants to meet new people, get new ideas, fresh perspectives or stay motivated and connected.
Will I get sales? Yes, but! Sales usually come as a consequence of being knowledgeable, trustworthy, capable. Think less getting referrals and more getting known and learning/discussing. There's no limits on who can attend - any industry, profession or trade, all welcome. Think collaboration, connection, not competition.

How much? $10! We're more about giving value than getting reward. We want no barriers to entry, no monthly or yearly commitment, but we do need to pay the bills. Rock on up, meet friends and newbies. have fun, leave smarter, get motivated!

Our vision is to become Christchurch largest monthly networking/business discussion group by providing monthly meetings of value for small business owners (present and future) who want to expand their network and "Talk Business".
