Paula Nguyen - Product Manager, Walmart Technology
Walmart Technology is working on 2 chatbots in the Austin office. The first is a supplier chatbot that provides curated answers to questions pertaining to supplier accounts, which allows contact center agents to rapidly and intuitively access critical information to answer supplier inquiries made to the contact center. The second is a benefits chatbot that a US Walmart associate will be able to ask questions regarding benefit premiums to continue their insurance coverage while they are on leave of absence. Paula will discuss their process, and what they hope to accomplish with conversational interfaces.

Jayneil Dalal - AI Interaction Designer, AT&T
In this hands-on talk, Jayneil will share his journey of building chatbots for the IA Summit, Big Design, MidwestUX conferences using IBM Watson & Botkit Studio to reduce the workload of the conference organizers. Attendees will learn about the best practices for conversational design from interviews he conducted with AI startups such as Lemonade, x.ai etc.
