Marty Supreme
Oscar-tipped A24 drama starring Timothée Chalamet. New York in the 1950s and Marty Mauser is an up and coming table tennis prodigy who dreams of being world champion. However the sport is not taken seriously state side, and so with hustling, chutzpah and a bit of moral ambiguity he sets off to achieve his dream. Gwyneth Paltrow also stars.

Hamnet
Chloe Zhao directs this poignant story of love, loss and creation. William Shakespeare is an established playwright when he meets Agnes. A woman deeply connected to the forest and countryside, rumours persist that she is bewitched. However the two marry, have children, and seem to be on course for the perfect life. However when tragedy strikes everything is called into question, as the pair enter a deep mourning period. From this despair will eventually come the creative drive that sparks William to create Hamlet. Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley star.

Wake Up Dead Man : A ‘Knives Out’ Mystery (Netflix)
Rian Johnson adds another puzzlebox, locked room mystery to his Knives Out saga. A pastor gives a sermon to a packed congregation, enters a sealed room and is found dead. The local police are stumped and so genius detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is called in to help solve the crime. Glenn Close, Josh O’Connor, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott make up a cast of characters who may have had more than a passing interest in seeing the pastor snuffed out!

Sentimental Value
Joachim Trier reunites with Renata Reinsve in this film that also stars Stellan Skarsgard and Elle Fanning. When his two daughters were young, maverick film director Gustav split from his wife, leaving her to care for the children whilst he built a successful career for himself overseas. Decades later he has returned, in the twilight years of his life he wishes to direct a final, personal masterpiece to restore his waning legacy. This homecoming stirs tensions as his daughters have years of trauma and paternal disconnect to overcome. However Gustav has an olive branch, he wants to make his struggling actress daughter Nora the star of the film!

It Was Just An Accident
Iranian film that won the coveted Palme d’Or at Cannes, and which was made secretly, without permission from the Iranian authorities. Vahid is working as a mechanic when one day a man he never forgets walks into his garage, it is his old sadistic prison guard who tormented him and countless others. He plots to capture him and bury him alive in the desert…But the man pleads innocence and begs for his life…Is this a ruse or has Vahid captured the wrong man? To get verification he calls up his old prison mates to see if they think it’s him…Or mistaken identity.

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple
The second part of the 28 Years Later story. Young Spike is now alone in the infected wilderness fending for himself, there he is apprehended by a strange gang led by the eccentric, violent Jimmy Crystal. At the bone temple Dr Kelson’s research into the 'Rage virus' is starting to bear fruit…Can the infection be cured? Are the surviving humans more of a threat than the infected now?

The Diving Bell and The Butterfly (2007)
The incredible true story of Jean Dominique-Bauby, a high flying magazine editor whose life was transformed by a stroke. Awaking in hospital Bauby has locked-in syndrome, and is paralysed bar the use of his facial muscles. Filled with scenes of his past, regrets, imagined escape and the faces that peer at him day to day, the film portrays Bauby’s memoir, written by him as a prisoner of his own body with just the use of his left eye.
