## 📣 What to expect at our Tallaght Toastmasters meeting

Welcome! Here’s what will happen at each meeting so you know exactly what to expect when you join us . 😊

### 🕒 Arrive + settle in

• Please arrive by 7:30 pm (we start at 7:45 pm)
• You’ll be warmly greeted and shown where to sit
• If it’s your first visit, you can sit back and observe—there’s no pressure to speak

### 🎤 The meeting format (typical run-through)

During the evening, we’ll follow a friendly, structured agenda that includes:

• Welcome + quick updates
• Prepared speeches (members practice and deliver a talk they've planned)
• Impromptu speaking (short “on the spot” prompts—great for building confidence)
• Feedback + encouragement
• Supportive evaluation focused on helping each speaker improve
• Positive, practical tips to build skills

• You can participate at your own pace
• Guests are always welcome, and first-time visitors are encouraged to:
