Join us for a Beginner bachata class at Studio D 2525 Apalachee Parkway Unit 8

Bachata is a sensual dance that originated in the Dominican Republic (http://www.ask.com/wiki/Dominican_Republic?qsrc=3044). It is danced widely all over the world. The basics to the dance are three-steps with a Cuban hip motion (http://www.ask.com/wiki/Cuban_hip_motion?qsrc=3044), followed by a tap which can include a hip movement also on the 4th beat. Generally, most of the dancer's movement is in the lower body up to the hips, and the upper body can be moved more or less. This class is designed to provide the basics of bachata with turn patterns and shines that will help you glide on the dance floor.

Ladies, let’s get together and dance bachata for brunch. Food served. At night, don’t stand in the long lines. Whether you're celebrating with a sweetheart, your best friends, or treating yourself to a night out, this is the Valentine's event you won't want to miss! Ditch the generic dinner plans and get ready to dance the night away! Social dancing from 7- 10 pm to salsa, bachata, cha cha cha and much more.
Brunch Workshop 12-2 pm with a 2 hour Bachata Ladies Styling Class- $20 in advance/ $25 at door
Social Dancing 7-10 pm - Ladies Free (Men $10 in advance / $15 at door)- Food Served
