Welcome to the Tallahassee Social 40+ Meetup Group!
(Established June 2022)
We’re a group of active adults aged 40 and over in the Tallahassee area who enjoy getting together for fun, friendship, and social outings. Whether it's grabbing a bite, attending local events, or exploring something new, we’re all about making connections and having a great time. Be sure to check out our event history and photo albums!
Who We Are:
We're a social group, not a singles group or business networking platform. Everyone is welcome: singles, couples, drinkers, non-drinkers. If you're here just to pitch a product or find dates, this probably isn’t the group for you. Respect and kindness are non-negotiable. We’re here to enjoy each other’s company, and inappropriate behavior will lead to immediate removal.
How to Get Involved:
- Have a profile photo of yourself so we can recognize you at events.
- RSVP honestly. If you RSVP “Yes” and plans change, please update to “Not Going” so someone else can take your spot.
- Some events have participant limits—but don’t hesitate to join the waitlist! Spots often open up.
- Most events are for adults, but family-friendly gatherings will be clearly marked.
Stay Active:
We conduct regular reviews to remove inactive members, so check in on the group page occasionally to stay up to date.
