About us

Tallahassee A Cappella Singers is a community Meetup for adults who want to sing together and enjoy the experience of creating harmony in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

This group is hosted by Capital Chordsmen, a long-standing Tallahassee vocal ensemble dedicated to high-quality a cappella music and community engagement. Our focus is on group singing, musical growth, and the simple joy of making music with others—no instruments required.

What you’ll experience:

Group a cappella singing in a supportive, low-pressure environment

Clear guidance and structure—no auditions or prior experience needed

Music that emphasizes harmony, blend, and teamwork

A friendly, respectful community of adult singers

When & where we meet

We meet every Thursday evening from 7:00–9:30 PM at the Tallahassee Senior Center (1400 N Monroe St), in the downstairs dining room.

Onsite parking is available, with ample additional street parking nearby.

Meetups are designed for people who enjoy singing and want to explore harmony singing without the formality or expectations of a traditional choir. You do not need to read music or have previous vocal training. Many participants are first-time group singers.

Whether you’re returning to singing after time away or discovering group vocal music for the first time, Tallahassee A Cappella Singers offers a welcoming place to learn, participate, and connect through music.

If you’re curious about singing with others, we invite you to join us and sing along.
