1:45 PM: Elevate Your Service Game: Next-Level Customisations for Jira Service Management

Are you looking to elevate your service management game to new heights?

What if your service desk customers could resolve problems without raising a ticket using available self-service options? What if you could speed up agent workflows using automation to reduce resolution time and free up your team? What if you could make data-driven decisions to enhance your service delivery?

Well it turns out, you can! Atlassian’s Forge platform allows you to develop rich customisations and automations with just a few lines of JavaScript. In this session, we’ll show you how to extend the customer portal experience, programmatically analyse tickets using the API, and provide a broad overview of the extensibility opportunities in Jira Service Management.

Though this presentation will involve code, Forge is a “low code” platform accessible to any technical team member familiar with JavaScript. Whether you aim to enhance your organisational workflows or improve customer service, this talk will equip you with the insights and tools needed to turn your ideas into reality using Forge.

Key Takeaways
Attendees will walk away with:

  • an understanding of how Forge can be used to enhance Jira Service Management
  • the skills and resources to get started building Forge apps
  • some practical ideas for improving your service operations
