Would you like to go back to these youth days where coloring was the best? Adult coloring has taken off though we find our color pencils techniques have changed and coloring books are much more sophisticated with specialized books catering to almost painting-like quality drawings.
This group is for adults who would like to share and learn new techniques of coloring. From learning about paper weight, using color pencils, felt or alcohol-based pens, blending techniques, etc. Many videos exist describing coloring techniques to be made the focus of a meetup session for practice.
The goal is to start with a monthly 2-hour meetup session where attendees are invited to come with their coloring material and started projects. A public library room if the session is going to include more involved techniques or meeting in a restaurant for brunch/lunch followed by a coloring session would be the ideal locations. This will be decided based on the number of participants and the learning techniques involved that day. But most importantly we get to spend and share our hobby with other coloring passionates. And we come out relaxed and ready for world.
This group is for all. There is no levels in coloring! I myself discovered this world quite recently and like that there is no need for investments. Yes I use Crayolas; and bought a basic coloring booklet at Publix which I have used to spend numerous hours in a happy coloring mood. I now have invested in basic felts and a few blending pens. So feel easy if you are also a beginner in adult coloring. The goal is to find others to share a coloring session with.
