Welcome to Tampa Area Game Masters! 🎲
This group is mainly intended for adults who organize games for others, but we welcome anyone who is interested in learning more about creating a fun and collaborative multiplayer experience. Whether you are a veteran Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Master, someone who wants to finally host their own Pathfinder adventure, or just someone who always finds themselves running Board Game Night, we can all benefit from coming together to share our questions, our successes, and our lessons learned.
Now what would a GM group be without some rules that must be followed. If you want to join our group, you can make a good first impression by reading and following this guide:
- 18+ only: The Meetup app is meant for those 18 and older. To keep things simple, I also follow that rule. If you are a minor and interested in a group like this, I recommend contacting your local library to see if they have a related program.
- Safe space: No misogyny or misandry. No “isms”. No hate. This group is a safe space and LGBTQIA+ are welcome here as they are.
- You must either be in some sort of “game master” role as defined in the intro, or interested in trying for yourself. Being a player and being a Game Master are two very different experiences, and we are here to support GMs.
