2017 Tampa Natsu Matsuri Japanese Summer Festival

Tampa Natsu Matsuri is Tampa's only Japanese Summer Festival. Created by & for those interested in Japanese culture in the Tampa area. For over a decade now, our not-for-profit community organization has been hosting this authentic Japanese Summer Festival, which has grown in size & popularity each year.

Recently we moved the event to the evening & extended it to 4 hours, making it even more typical of those in Japan. Admission & parking are free. Tickets are sold for games & activities for a modest fee. Proceeds fund next year's event & Japan-related charitable programs.

The festival features Japanese cultural displays, art, games, exhibits, activities, martial arts, music, clothing & a growing sampling of anime/manga & cosplay. Vendors typically include food/drink, hand-made items, books, toys, etc.
