In Google I/O we learned about Room and how great it is for persisting data without having to write all that tedious boilerplate code we would if we were just using a SQLite database on its own.
We'll also check out Chiu-Ki Chan speaking about How to Become an Android Expert. Chiu-Ki is a Google Developer Expert in Android. This talk is all about what steps we can take in our every day dealings with Android. If you're interested in upping your Android developer game there are TONS of tips to listen to here.
If anyone is interested, we can also adjourn to one of the nearby eating and/or drinking places for extra socializing.
