Online: AWS "landing zones" with Governance and Security

Details

Note: I am using the term "landing zone" in a general sense as an environment you create for future workloads. Although Amazon does have a service named "AWS Landing Zones", I will be branching outside of their service offering and discuss other ways to create a safe and well-governed cloud architecture.

How do you "bake in" governance and security when you create your first few "landing zones" in AWS? How do you ensure that you don't focus solely on compute, storage and virtual networking and as a result fly blind when it comes to governance and a strong security posture?

This online interactive talk will discuss how your first few landing zones can include "governance as code" and build a solid foundation for your cloud workloads. Features discussed include Control Tower, Organizations, AWS Landing Zones, and native AWS security services.

This presentation is given by Jeff Fudge, the organizer of the AWS user group and a passionate cloud advocate. Sponsored and presented by GreenPages Technology Solutions.
