Phishing emails are the most widely used infection method used by hackers and multinational corporations are not the only targets. In 2017 over 60% of reported breaches were with companies of less than 1,000 employees and nearly 1/5 of all ransomware attacks worldwide were on US targets. Roger A. Grimes, Data-Driven Defense Evangelist for KnowBe4, Inc., is a 30-year computer security consultant, instructor, holder of dozens of computer certifications, and author of 10 books and over 1,000 magazine articles on computer security. He has spoken at many of the world’s biggest computer security conferences, been in Newsweek™ magazine, appeared on television, been interviewed for NPR’s All Things Considered™, and been the weekly security columnist for InfoWorld and CSO magzines since 2005. He has worked at some of the world’s largest computer security companies, including Foundstone, McAfee, and Microsoft. He has consulted for hundreds of companies, from the largest to the smallest, around the world. He specializes in host and network security, identity management, anti-malware, hackers, honeypots, Public Key Infrastructure, cloud security, cryptography, policy, and technical writing. His certifications have included CPA, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, MSCE: Security, Security+, and yada-yada others, and he has been an instructor for many of them. His writings and presentations are often known for their real-world, contrarian views.

Wes Spencer is a nationally recognized technology innovator and cybersecurity expert . He has served as a senior executive and advisor from startups to Fortune 500. He is a dynamic and frequently requested professional conference speaker. Wes has served on multiple advisory committees with distinguished organizations such as American Banker, Sentinel One, and FS-ISAC. He currently serves on the Department of Homeland Security AIS advisory committee and is active in the STIX working group to continue to drive automation standards in threat intelligence sharing. By profession, Wes is the CISO of Perch Security. Wes is the senior executive focusing on internal and external cybersecurity for Perch. Wes provides thought leadership externally to organizations around the world in the area of threat intelligence and threat information sharing.
