Presentation Synopsis:
Securing SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Systems requires a defense-in-depth approach. In the past, SCADA systems were air-gapped from enterprise networks which is no longer the case as SCADA data, and remote connectivity are required for most organizations. This presentation will provide one of the approaches that can be used to segment SCADA from the enterprise and segment SCADA internally. The presented approach has been implemented using readily available technologies in a water utility. The resulting architecture is based on the Purdue model and can be applied to existing or new systems.
