**9:00am - 1st Speaker - VineIT**

* *Bio:* Nate Ginter is an IT and Cybersecurity professional with over 20 years of experience implementing, securing, and supporting small-to-medium business networks. He is an ISACA certified Cybersecurity Auditor and has performed ground up development of IT Security Programs ranging in scope from small law firms up to entire multi-hospital medical organizations. He currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Vine IT, an IT Managed Services and Cybersecurity provider based in St. Petersburg, FL.
* *Discussion Abstract:* AI: Challenges and Opportunities in the Information Technology Sector. This presentation will focus on the recent developments in the AI / Machine Learning technology sector. From emergent threats to new workflow and defense capabilities, we will explore the pitfalls and promise of these rapidly evolving toolsets and their impact on IT operations.

**10:00am - 2nd Speaker - Duke Energy**

* *Bio:* Michael Hunt is the Corporate Security Investigator, Lead Security Specialist for the last three years. He has a 27 year career in law enforcement with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. His focus is heavy emphasis on investigations involving domestic and international terrorism cases.
* *Discussion Abstract:* The brief will begin with an overview of Duke Energy and then transition into U.S. government policy that affects electric grid security. We will delve into threats to energy infrastructure, including, electric generation, transmission, and distribution as well as natural gas transmission and distribution. We will cover specific threat vectors to the energy sector, including, violent extremist threats, Nation-State threats, and International Terrorism threats to the Bulk Electric System. The brief will conclude with an overview of Duke Energy’s Threat Intelligence and Investigations program and provide an opportunity for questions about how Duke Energy can support law enforcement in protecting our people, infrastructure, and our ability to power our communities.

**11:00am - 3rd Speaker - ISSA**

* *Bio:* Trace Hollifield began his Internet career with a dial up ISP in 1996 and then moved onto cable networks shortly after\, moving to cybersecurity industry officially in 2012\. Currently\, Trace is the President of the Tampa Bay chapter of ISSA\, and works at Guidepoint Security assisting customers in identifying weaknesses in their security programs and creating remediation plans to reduce their overall risk\. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Japanese language from UNC at Charlotte\, as well as several certifications from SANS\, ISC2\, ISACA and EC\-Council\, including the CISSP\, GSLC\, and C\|CISO\.
* *Discussion Abstract:* Data is digital gold. We'll set the stage that bad things do happen and a businesses have to pay out. Yet, the financial aspect of a breach is not well known, and almost always costs the business significantly more than people realize. Bad actors invest a little and earn a lot.... similar to buying a lottery ticket (a $10 invest for $200k payout). Businesses are feeling more pressure from regulatory bodies "to do the right thing", which comes at a significant cost. Or is this a new money making scheme for regulatory bodies? Insurance is not a silver bullet because the investment costs are increasing, and payouts are decreasing. In the end, businesses need to start accepting the budgetary demand of the game to protect the fast evolving digital gold that is their data.
