**Bio:** Wayne Selk is the VP of Cybersecurity Programs and the Executive Director for the CompTIA ISAO, as well as co-author, contributor, and past facilitator for the ConnectWise MSP+ Framework, Playbooks and Certify Fundamentals Advanced Courses. Wayne has over 25 years of experience and leadership in planning, managing, and delivering information security deployments to help CompTIA members secure their and their customers' sensitive/business critical data. Before that he spent five years with Sienna Group, where he served as a principal consultant focused on data classification, FISMA compliance and managed security services. A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Data Protection Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), he currently resides in the Tampa Bay Area.

**Discussion Abstract:** Cybersecurity is changing at lightning speed! Why?…because it has to. From the advent of AI to the maturing of the dark web and cybercriminal ecosystems, cybersecurity is extraordinarily complex and requires a comprehensive and flexible approach. Wayne will discuss the cybersecurity landscape…present and future, risk management and incident response, as well as how the context has changed to securing largely cloud environments versus on-premise hardware.

**Bio:** Jennifer Graham - As an established 20-year leader within cybersecurity, Jennifer has held executive leadership roles in digital identity, business resilience, and crisis management. As Managing Director at Accenture, she’s now focused on bringing passion and diligence to her business and clients. She shapes a new type of perspective for clients, becoming a true partner and sharing empathy for their roles, having been on the client side herself. Her work extends far beyond the deliverables as the extra mile is built into her operating style, as is being a present leader to her team and colleagues.

**Bio:** Michael Ritchie is a cybersecurity engineer and executive with three decades of experience securing SaaS applications in the cloud for companies such as Veralytic, Moffitt Cancer Center, UPS, MCI, MTV, Worldcom, Harcourt Brace, HSN, and CNBC. His diverse industry background includes the Defense Industrial Base, MedTech/HIMS, FinTech, and eCommerce. He is a frequent speaker and trainer at well-known conferences like InfoSec World, Defense & Innovation, & IIoT World, Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, is a member of the UPE Honor Society for Computing, and is currently serving as President of InfraGard Tampa Bay Members Alliance. He is the principal of Germinal, a cybersecurity and software engineering consultancy.

**Discussion Abstract:** Enhance your knowledge with an overview of the current trends in Cloud Security. Starting with an introduction to Cloud Security scope, responsibilities, and models, we will review a standard implementation of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework applied to a cloud environment. Then discuss the role of encryption in the implementation, including where and why it’s needed. We will cover many current trends and advancements using the example implementation as a foundation. Additionally, we will discuss how the biggest threats to the cloud are often outside the cloud and lastly we will finish with how to engage this sector for career opportunities.
