* *Bio: Kurt Sanger is a cybersecurity, data privacy, and government relations attorney for Buchanan, Ingersoll & Rooney, PC.  He served for 23 years in the US Marine Corps, the last eight with US Cyber Command, where he was Deputy General Counsel. Kurt participated in the full spectrum of the Command's offensive and defensive efforts, including countering foreign election influence and other adversaries' malign use of cyberspace.*
* *Discussion Abstract: Legal & Regulatory Developments Impacting the IT Professional Community*. *The information technology playing field is constantly shifting its legal, regulatory, and operational rules.  IT professionals must find a way to deal with uncertainty and progress.
